The CTC Committee is asking for expressions of interest in holding an in-house singles competition.

All members are eligible to enter. The format:

• The comp would be a round robin; graded divisions if enough players
• The match would be 1 hour in duration (including hit up)
• Winner of the match is the person winning the most games in 1 hour, e.g. in 1 hour, participants might play 15 games, score maybe 9 games to 6. Person with 9 games wins. Point score: 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw.
• Participants play 1 match per week – players to organise own playing time which is agreeable to both players. The drawn match must be completed within the week, i.e. played between Monday am and Sunday pm.
• It’s preferred that matches are played on Saturday afternoons (from 12:00 pm and after 4.30 pm) and on Sunday afternoons (Collaroy member time).

Entry fee: $30 per person

If you’re interested in playing the singles competition, please send a mail to the Club Secretary. If there are enough interests, we will commence the comp in the very near future.
