Doubles will continue at Collaroy Tennis Club for members and guests that are fully vaccinated. In line with the easing of restrictions, the Club will bring back the Saturday Social Board from Saturday 23 October 2021. This will allow more members to play doubles. They will have the opportunity to play with different players other the ones they’ve been playing with for the past few weeks/months. In addition, existing members can meet some of the new members and vice versa. All of these will need to be done safely by following the Tennis NSW guidelines and Health protocols.
The Club members will have to book in advance for a 2-hr session, i.e. 1-3 PM or 3-5 PM. Some tennis courts will also be allocated to members who are only available to play singles at 12-1 PM. This was designed to avoid having too many players at the Club at the one time. With 6 courts, it will be ideal to have no more than 24 players per session.
Updates regarding the Club activities and procedures were communicated to all members on 29 September and 18 October. If you have missed any of them and/or need further info, please contact the Club Secretary.
