You may have noticed the new blue benches which were placed in front of the clubhouse (under the shade sails) and outside court 3 last weekend. The four new benches along with the table and bench settings in front of courts 1 and 6 are made of recycled plastic materials. They have a life span of approximately 40 years. Unlike other outdoor furniture which may need constant maintenance, these recycled-plastic tables and benches will not split, splinter or crack like wood and never need painting. They are UV stabilised which will protect the recycled plastic from sun damage. They are Australian made, environmentally friendly and long lasting.

The Collaroy Tennis Club has spent $3200 to replace the previous bench seats, which were quite dilapidated and had become unsafe to use.
