The Collaroy Tennis Club held its Junior Boys Club Championships on Saturday, 15 January 2022. The boys ages ranged from 9 to 12 years old. They commenced their first round matches at 8.30 am and the final finished at 1:00 pm. Most of the matches were tightly-fought. It was certainly a test of endurance, concentration and skill for all the players involved.

The Final itself between Leon Goh and Mason MacPhee was an epic struggle that went to a third set super tie-break and this match lasted 2 hours. The level of shot-making displayed with great serving and excellent rallies was most impressive. The tenacity of the players and sportsmanship displayed was also to be admired. The Club is in good shape with this emerging talent coming through the ranks.

All players and parents stayed to watch till the end and attended the presentation which was conducted following the Final. Thank you to Scott, Damian and Wil for organising and running this event.
