Collaroy Tennis Club is recognised as a progressive community club, well led by a 'can do' management committee that has overseen more than half a million dollars’ worth of improvements in the last decade. These include the addition of solar panels and a solar battery (courtesy of Belle Property), LED lighting on all courts, wheelchair-access, new inclusive bathrooms/shower facilities (thank you Northern Beaches Council), new court surfaces (5 synthetic grass and one acrylic-based hard court) as required and permanent seating installed on each court. Inside the spacious clubhouse is a fully equipped kitchen, vending machines for snacks and drinks, a new table tennis table, a big-screen TV for presentations or watching the Grand Slams. Outside, there's a new BBQ in a large shaded outdoor area. Plus there’s free parking just outside the club and in nearby streets.
