Collaroy Tennis Club is proud to announce that, as a result of our first ever submission, we have achieved Silver Level certification in the 2025 Australian Pride in Sport Index. This is a testament to the Club’s continued commitment to inclusion in sport.
Shout out to the Club’s Inclusion Sub-Committee of Lavinia, Justine, Glenn and Dave for their work in pulling together the submission documents. We actually applied for Bronze Tier status first-up, but were leap-frogged straight to Silver, based on the work the Club has done in this space.
The Pride in Sport Index is Australia’s only benchmarking tool specifically designed to assess the inclusion of people with diverse sexualities and genders within sporting organisations and codes. This national framework recognises the efforts of sporting bodies working to create safe, welcoming and inclusive environments for all.
This Silver Level certification confirms Collaroy’s dedication to making tennis on the northern beaches a sport for everyone, regardless of background or identity. The Club was listed within the Benchmarking Results presentation (see image below) as among the top three scoring community sport organisations in Australia and we also appear in the official Media Release.

All successful organisations were recognised at the 2025 Australian Pride in Sport Awards held in Melbourne on 16 April. Congratulations to all these clubs and sporting bodies.

Our Club remains committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion across all levels of the game, both on and off the court. The PSI Silver Badge and details of this most recent achievement have been added to the Club’s website within the Home Page footer.
